The Sonel PVM-1021 Pro is a professional photovoltaic meter kit designed for thorough commissioning and diagnostic testing of PV systems with a maximum DC voltage of 1000 V. The main photovoltaic meter — PVM-1021 — handles the full electrical test sequence required under EN 62446-1 category 1: open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, insulation resistance (DC and AC sides), protective earth continuity, and AC/DC power.
The companion IRM-1 solar radiation and temperature meter feeds real-time irradiance and panel temperature data directly to the PVM-1021 via LoRa, enabling automatic STC conversion per EN IEC 60891 without any manual data entry. The reSYNC feature ensures no results are lost if the two devices drift out of range during work on large ground-mounted arrays — the PVM-1021 retroactively fills in the environmental data once the link is re-established. Both instruments are built for outdoor use, with the photovoltaic meter rated IP54 and the IRM-1 at IP65.

Ingress protection and durability:
