This power adaptor cable allows you to supply power to the meter power supply directly from the voltage sensing leads.

So, no need for an external wall plug anymore. Connect the Live and Neutral leads to the meter’s voltage input ports, then plug in the meter’s power supply to the two pin plug point, then plug in the USB or Barrel plug / USB to the meter’s power input port.
