Lumel NMID30-1 V1 — MID Certified Energy Meter — Single & Three Phase
140.00 $
The Lumel NMID30-1 V1 is a MID certified energy meter for permanent DIN rail installation in single-phase and three-phase networks, legally approved for tenant billing and sub-metering under EU Directive 2014/32/EU.
It records imported and exported active and reactive energy independently, making it suitable for installations with solar PV, battery storage, or EV charging. Built-in RS485 Modbus RTU and dual pulse outputs allow direct integration with BMS and SCADA platforms without additional hardware.
Key functions include:
- Import and export active energy (kWh) and reactive energy (kVArh)
- Per-phase voltage, current, power factor, and THD to the 31st harmonic
- Maximum demand tracking (5–60 min intervals)
- RS485 Modbus RTU with 60+ parameter register map
- Dual pulse outputs — fixed 3200 imp/kWh plus one configurable output
- 1A and 5A CT compatible, up to 6000A primary current
Designed for electricians, solar installers, and energy consultants, the NMID30-1 V1 delivers billing-grade accuracy in a compact 4-module DIN rail housing. EU Type Examination Certificate No. 0120/SGS0727 is valid until June 2034.

This MID Certified Energy Meter is ideal for:
- Sub-metering individual tenants, floors, or circuits in commercial and industrial buildings
- Verifying solar PV generation and monitoring net import/export at the grid connection point
- Measuring bidirectional energy flows in installations with battery storage or EV charging
- Feeding billing-grade energy data into BMS or SCADA systems over RS485 Modbus RTU
- Providing verified, MID-compliant consumption data for energy audits and regulatory reporting
What you can do with the data:
- Issue legally compliant tenant or cost-centre energy invoices based on certified kWh readings
- Size solar PV systems accurately using real import and export consumption profiles
- Identify power factor issues and quantify reactive energy consumption per circuit
- Detect phase imbalances and screen power quality with per-phase THD up to the 31st harmonic
- Automate switching or trigger alerts using the configurable pulse output
- Build long-term energy dashboards by polling the full Modbus register map continuously
Device Features:
- 4 voltage input terminals (L1, L2, L3, N) — terminals 1–4
- 6 current input terminals for 3 external CTs (P1/P2, S1/S2 per phase) — terminals 15–20
- RS485 terminals (GND, B, A) — terminals 1–2
- Pulse output 1 — fixed 3200 imp/kWh — terminals 11/12
- Pulse output 2 — configurable kWh or kVArh — terminals 9/10
- Auxiliary supply terminals (L, N) — terminals 5/6 Power output terminals — terminals 7/8
- 4 front panel buttons (V/A, MD/PF Hz, P, E)
- Blue backlit LCD display
