The HT Instruments PV-ISOTEST is a dedicated PV insulation tester rated at 1500 V DC, designed for commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems, and compliant with EN 62446 / IEC 62446 (VDE 0126-23).
Unlike standard testers, it enables direct measurements on live PV strings — no external shorting adapter required. The device internally bridges the positive and negative conductors, allowing safe insulation testing without interrupting operation or adding setup steps.
The integrated Ground Fault Locator (GFL) pinpoints the exact location of insulation faults within a string, significantly reducing troubleshooting time on site.
It also includes all key functions for complete PV system verification:

- Protective conductor continuity testing

This PV insulation tester is ideal for the following

These energy loggers has been field tested to be reliable and with a very low failure rate. If in the rare case something does go wrong, we will swop it out if still under guarantee. This energy logger has a two-year swop-out guarantee. As an authorised Meatrol repair centre, we can also repair Meatrol energy loggers and have stock of replacement parts.
